For this step, use a bread knife or a strong spoon; use this to scrape off the excess with a lot of care while making sure not to spread it to other parts of the carpet.
Step 2; after removing the excess, take a good amount of baking powder and sprinkle it over the area that has just been cleaned and then allow for 15 minutes. After the fifteen minutes have elapsed, get your vacuum cleaner and use it to absorb the baking soda. You should notice some improvement on the stained area.
Step 3: Follow the vacuuming with an application of the right carpet cleaning chemical. You may choose one that you are used to. You will want to spray this product on the affected area and then blot it out with a clean piece of cloth. This step should be repeated as often as possible, until the stain is completely removed.
Step 4; lastly, sprinkle very clean water to the affected area and use some clean towel to soak it out.
